Major apologies for not being there, but i bought the closest thing to a cupcake i could find here in San Sebastian (i know i know – im such a travel w.nker) and sat on the boardwalk listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan and thinking about your awesomeness. One day when you are older and like curing AIDS or being a rocket scientist or drummer or model/actress or maybe even a race car driver then ill explain why i wasn’t there for your third birthday. After i explain why i wasn’t there for your first birthday.....
