Walking the Monaco F1 GP track yesterday was awesome. As a total F1 nerd it was a dream come true. Actually the dream would be to drive a car around the track, but walking it was still cool.
Ive wanted to go to Monaco since i was a kid. 1987 500cc motorbike world champion Wayne Gardner (from Wollongong where i grew up) had millions of bucks so he moved there. And i remember reading about this b1tchin lifestyle there with Ferraris, 100m yachts, supermodels and no income tax. When i went there yesterday i saw a few Ferraris, lots of boats, Don Cheadle but no supermodels. Random story but i did meet Linda Evangelista once. She was real nice to me. And real pretty. I could take that home.
I walked past a Ferrari garage. They only serviced Ferraris. Inside was an Enzo sitting next to an F40. They were real pretty. I could take either home.
I also saw a gig poster for a small club near the casino. Two weeks ago Charlie Watts (he of the Rolling Stones) played a small gig there – maybe 100 people. The place has dozens of such events each year. I want to go to there.
Sorry this update is big for those getting it via email. Too many photos of too much awesome stuff.
