Was awesome.

 

Huge crowd. Huge. It was at an airfield. Not sure on numbers, but as far as the eye could see were people. I was up the front in the “golden circle”. Got there at 11am, doors at 2pm.

 

Sweet sweet merchandise. 3 shirts for me thank you.

 

Behemoth. first. Lame. The only dudes who should wear make up on stage are Kiss. End of story.

 

Anthrax. Great. Joey was in fine firm. Was thinking of you the whole show Dieter. He sucked doing Only but – that belongs to Bush. Scott had the new NOT guitar. Frank was the usual ball of energy. Great hits setlist. Among was epic. Indians was awesome.

 

Megadeth. Meh. Bored. Wanted to catch up on sleep. I know some of you like them but they just bore me. In high school, we chose sides – Megadeth vs Metallica. I chose the right side.

 

Slayer – best show if theirs ive ever seen. Sure its only the 3^rd, but last October they were really put off by Tom losing his voice. Tonight was great. ANGEL OF DEATH!!!! Chemical Warfare. Dead Skin Mask. It was all there. Lombardo rules!!!!!!!!!! My spine was dislocated by the sound of his double bass. Whoah.

 

Metallica – very very good. Not the best show ive ever seen (Sydney #2 1998 and Melb Myer Bowl 2004 own that title evenly). Good show – seemed polished a bit.  New Death Magnetic songs are great live. They did Bells / Fade / Sanitarium. Adam Baker was beyond happy with just that. Stone Cold Crazy was a nice surprise – probably a top 5 cover song they do for me.  Puppets and Seek & Destroy were also great. Those who are going to the shows in November are gonna love it. Tonight was too short.

 

All in all a great event. Glad i made it. Wish some of my peeps were there with me.

 

Oh – met Joey Belladonna too. He was walking around the front of the stage before Behemoth. Signed my travel journal too. Thats 2/5ths of Anthrax that have signed it now. Score!

 

I have photos and video. Ill do a better report later and send photos. Just wanted to send something. Im real tired – its 215am here and i gotta get up soon to fly back to London. Scored floor seats to Bon Jovi tonight. Not that im bragging.....

ps - -I love Warsaw. Its beautiful. And cheap. Food is average. The women are exceptionally hot.
